Position Overview The School of Kinesiology occasionally needs adjunct instructors or visiting faculty to teach courses that cannot be staffed by regular faculty or graduate assistants. Instructors are appointed on a semester basis, dependent on the teaching needs of the School of Kinesiology. These positions are temporary, non-tenured, Academic Professional and Administrative (P&A) positions as a Teaching Specialist or Lecturer, paid on a per course basis. Typically, these appointments are made semester by semester and employment is contingent on the course meeting its enrollment target. This search will establish a "pool" of instructors. Applicants will be selected from that pool on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Applications may not be acknowledged but will be reviewed when such openings occur throughout the academic year. This position is based on campus. Pay Range: The salary range for this position is $1,700 per credit taught, up to 4 total credits maximum. Final salary offers are dependent on the candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity within the department.
