Overview

How you can make a difference

People Operations Analysts at HealthEquity support team members, leaders, and the People Team in the execution of People processes and services. This role is responsible for delivering prompt response to tier 1 inquiries on People, Compliance, and reporting processes, including user support of People systems and timely escalation of inquiries to People Partners and COEs. The People Operations Analyst works closely with the People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, HRIS and other internal departments to support People processes as assigned. This role will work proactively to build relationships, support internal processes, simplify and support business requests.

What you'll be doing
    Provides prompt service to internal team members by responding to a wide array of People related inquiries via the People Inbox and Case management (ServiceNow) system, referring more complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate resource including the Employee Relations Consultant
  • Provides Tier 1 user support and for People systems (may include HRIS, applicant tracking and/or any other People applications)
  • Track status and conduct follow-ups for team member compliance on company requirements and initiatives.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute People programs.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of company-specific policies and practices including all relevant people programs and accompanying compliance requirements.
  • Maintain internal People processes and policy documentation.
  • Supports special projects as necessary, continually seeking new ways to enhance the business and impact the team member experience.
  • Partners with People Team Centers of Excellence (Tier III) through Tiered escalation model to assist team members with questions. and meet overall People Team objectives and programs.
  • Maintains an awareness and currency of "HR" principles, practices, and the related regulatory environment. This may involve attending training sessions or meetings in which information is imparted and discussed.
  • Actively participates in team meetings by engaging, leading meetings and activities to enhance the People Operations team.
  • Assists in creating and maintaining training documentation for current processes and future improvement and enhancements. Write documentation and quick guides.
  • Supports special projects as necessary, continually seeking new ways to enhance the business and impact the team member experience.
  • Assists with routine HRIS transactions (e.g., data imports, audits, data queries, data changes, new hire entries)
  • Works in partnership with People Team and Payroll team to review & audit employee data changes, new hire entries and other information sources to ensure data integrity.
What you will need to be successful
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Degree in HR, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of related experience preferably in HR Operations or HR Shared Services.
  • A passion to perform remarkable service and to be an ambassador of our Purple culture
  • Effective and efficient written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to proofread and edit documents.
  • Ability to deliver difficult messages with clarity, composure, and empathy
  • High professional judgement; ability to manage sensitive information and data.
  • Strong ability to work cross-organizationally with both individual contributors and leaders.
  • Self starter and independent thinker with the ability to work proactively and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Basic knowledge of business policy and employment laws.
  • Excellent time management with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage work deliverables effectively.

Salary Range

$25.00 To $37.50 / hour
