PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Under the direction of Director, Communications, is responsible for creating and reinforcing the GROWMARK System image through the creation of audio, video, photography, and graphic images for multimedia applications. Creates, develops, and maintains a creative vision for the GROWMARK System using multimedia tools, including photography and videography. Directs, develops, implements, and provides overall leadership of System multimedia projects.

SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP

Provides leadership to internal and external customers on AV projects. Oversees external vendors working on AV projects, ensuring consistent quality, managing project deadlines, and delivering excellent customer service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Creates, develops, and maintains a creative vision for the GROWMARK System, communicating creative vision to internal and external customers.

Serves as the primary photographer/videographer in support of enterprise-wide GROWMARK System publications, institutional materials, digital channels, electronic platforms, and other System needs.

Designs, creates, and produces presentations, videos, and other multimedia for use throughout the GROWMARK System.

Manages AV projects from requisition to completion. Identifies client needs, executes on/assigns AV production and editing; fulfills requests.

Maintains and manages GROWMARK Photo and Video Studio.

Collaborates with writers, graphic designers, photographers, and videographers in support of final project production.

Collaborates with IT and others to identify, acquire, monitor, and maintain multimedia equipment needed to produce multimedia projects.

Incorporates closed captioning and language translations into video production in support of accessibility.

Coordinates with third-party vendors to create and edit video footage or multimedia projects as needed; selects and supervises contract personnel for videography services and other multimedia projects.

Provides training on multimedia tools and equipment to corporate and FS member company marketing staff, as needed and requested.

Supports the GROWMARK Annual Meeting and Cooperative Leadership Conference assuming a major role in video needs in support of executive speeches, assists with staging and capturing program elements through multi-media.

Creates and maintains budget for AV equipment and services.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 - 5 years of experience dealing with digital media to demonstrate leadership and technical expertise.

Proficiency in all aspects of photo and video production, from operating a camera and video equipment to production of video, audio, and lighting to deliver high-quality multimedia products. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premier Pro and After Effects preferred.

Proven ability to work with executive management, farmer leaders, industry, and association executives and staff, and volunteers, to develop and execute digital/multimedia programming.

Proven planning, networking, business strategy, relationship building, organization, and project management skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.

Proven professional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills and the ability to research, create, and make presentations/represent GROWMARK to both internal/external audiences.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel independently and overnight when necessary.

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds above the head.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
