- Consistently and accurately disassemble, clean, evaluate, perform repairs, modifications, and assembly on Aircraft components by approved data.
- Work independently with limited supervision.
- Use precision measuring instruments and gauges such as feeler gauges, dial indicators, micrometers, and calipers.
- Repair detailed components by filing, stoning, lapping, and polishing.
- Using power and hand tools for drilling, sanding, and riveting.
- Write clearly and concisely the results of evaluations and be able to communicate repair requirements for work performed within our facility or sent to outside sources.
- Adhere to all EH&S requirements, FAA & EASA regulations, company rules, policies, procedures, and corporate initiatives.
- Follow procedures found in component maintenance manuals, service bulletins, ORIs, OREIs, drawings, and check sheets.
- Chemically treat repaired surfaces according to approved data.
- Review and interpret related paperwork to ensure proper parts and operational sequence identification, and record information on appropriate documentation.
- Drill, ream, tap, change studs, install helicoids, shrink-fit bushings and liners, and use an arbor press.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with aircraft maintenance and repair.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Automotive Trade School.
- FAA Airframe License.
- Must be competent in torque wrenches and understand the SAC torque specification SS9300 entirely.
