What You'll Do
- Perform contracts administration functions associated with proposals, contract award, and all phases of contract and subcontract administration to effectively manage contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations.
- Assists General Counsel & Deputy General Counsel in conducting research, investigating facts, preparing, and organizing various legal documents.
- Develop, negotiate, and administer Non-Disclosure, Teaming and Supplier Agreements.
- Coordinate with program management, finance, procurement, marketing, engineering, and compliance.
- Provide professional interface with customers to build effective relationships and manage contracts.
- Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations especially Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
Requirements
- 4+ years' experience in Federal Government contract administration/management or Paralegal.
- Prior government contracts and agreement management experience including Firm Fixed Price, Cost, OTAs, and CRADAs.
- Experience with export licensing and compliance.
- Demonstrated experience of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
- Detail oriented and able to work in an onsite team environment.
- Excellent presentation skills, strong analytical abilities, and be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously to achieve program goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the organization and with external customers.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers and possess excellent business acumen.
- Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, and move about regularly throughout the day and lift / carry up to 25 pounds. Must have manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment. Work Environment This position may have exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and non-climate-controlled environments. May require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) depending on the environment. This is a fast-paced work environment and requires cross departmental collaboration with independent and team-based responsibilities.
