Billing Analyst

As part of the Finance Operations team, we are currently seeking a billing analyst to operate within the Financial Force Platform.

What this job involves:

• End to end management of the finance operational aspects of the Financial Force Platform
  • Project Setup & Closeout - create projects for won opportunities, validate contracts and PO's, establish budgets and milestones.
  • Client Invoicing - managing billing events, generate and distribute client invoices (includes direct to client, as well as vendor portal submittals).
  • Vendor cost associated with 3rd party cost on specific projects - work with JLLT AP contact to provide coding/approval and cost accruals monthly where appropriate.
  • Business Support - provide support to Project Managers and other system users, process timecard corrections.
  • Project Accounting - manage revenue accruals and revenue recognition module in Financial Force to ensure accurate and appropriate recognition of revenue.
  • Month-end review with billing analyst team and Controllership (accrued vs invoiced).

• Ability to work independently, as well as able to build relationships across various other groups to work effectively with business partners.
• Works well in an entrepreneurial environment, but also able to partner well across the organization.
• Advanced accounting and analytical skills, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft and Financial Force / Salesforce systems a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated consistency in values, principles, and work ethic.
• Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure, and effectively prioritize and manage time and workload to meet client needs.
• Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments.
• A desire to excel within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment.
