Job Summary

Step into a hands-on lead role driving Infor LX (BPCS) and EDI solutions for Belden's global operations. You'll lead critical support and development initiatives, ensure seamless integration, and guide a third-party support partner to deliver impactful results. This remote role is ideal for experienced professionals ready to make a difference in enterprise systems and business transformation.

What you will do



  • Provide oversight, coaching, mentoring and delivery of the 3rd party partners we use for BPCS and EDI Support and development.
  • Design, configure, and implement BPCS and EDI solutions within the Infor LX/BPCS environment.
  • Manage and ensure smooth integration of EDI transactions between trading partners, suppliers, customers, and the organization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BPCS and EDI transactions and system integrations.
  • Collaborate with external trading partners to establish and maintain EDI connections.
  • Customize and configure EDI setups, including EDI formats such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and communication protocols like AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN.
  • Provide ongoing support for BPCS and EDI interfaces and processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and partner-specific requirements.
  • Support cutover activities of trading partners moving to CPI for inbound and outbound transmissions to and from BPCS as part of a broader SAP S4HANA Implementation project.



What you will bring



  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with AS400 Processes: a thorough understanding of how to work with EDI in an AS400 and BPCS environment.
  • Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining BPCS and EDI solutions.
  • RPG Programming: development and support of programs required to process files/data through EDI and into the BPCS and SAP S4HANA applications.
  • Strong knowledge of EDI formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and communication protocols such as AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN.
  • Familiarity with all EDI transactions, 850 Purchase Order, 810 Invoice, 856 Advanced Ship to Notice, 940 Warehouse Shipping Notice, 943 Warehouse Stock Transfer Shipment Advice, 944 Warehouse Stock Transfer Receipt Advice, 945 Warehouse Shipping Advice, 947 Warehouse Inventory Adjustment Advice,852 Product Activity Data Report, 846 Inventory Inquiry Specifications, 855 Purchase Order Acknowledgment, 997 Acknowledgement 888 Item Maintenance and possibly others.
  • Work with a variety of EDI Translators to map various transactions: Blue Cherry, Trusted Link, OpenText (formally GXS) Cleo Lexicon, SAP/IDOC, AS2, Gentran
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex EDI and system integration issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage 3rd party remote functional and technical BPCS and EDI resources.



Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $101,400-$152,100 plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
