Marketing Associate Position Purpose The Marketing Operations Associate supports day-to-day operations of the marketing department by fulfilling key processes for corporate store operations, customer-facing events, and administrative functions. This position reports to the Marketing Operations Lead and supports the execution of organizational and departmental goals. Marketing Associate Essential Functions
- Communicates and supports the Kirby Smith vision and core values of One Mission, One Team, One Plan, One Goal
- Actively learning/participating within Kirby-Smith Machinery's marketing operations environment
- Assists in planning, coordinating, and trackingcustomer-facing events
- Processes store orders via the store system and custom forms
- Picks, pulls, packs, and ships marketing store orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Tracks shipments and freight charges via the internet
- Accurately counts, receives, and stocks inventory
- Inspectsinbound shipments for defects or damages
- Picks up and delivers as directed; maintains accurate records of transport and obtains necessary signatures
- Processes company business card orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Processes department invoices
- Processes cooperative marketing paperwork
- Performs general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Adheres to all safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Acts professionally in all interactions and communications with customers and employees
- Consistent and reliable on-site attendance
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Marketing Associate Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in an administrative, marketing support, or coordination role
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Proficient with computer applications; shipping software preferred
- Valid driver's license
Marketing Associate Physical Requirements
- Pushing/Pulling/Lifting/Carrying up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Physical ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overhead
- Must be able to work inside and outside, between buildings and offices, in dirty/dusty conditions
- Physical ability to perform workfor extended hours
- Works alone or as part of a team
- Adheres to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintains individual PPE
