Mission

Uses and streamlines figures to analyze profitability and provide the management with decision support to optimize performance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strategy: develops and executes strategies and standards related to accounting policy, financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, budgeting, and financial systems and controls
  • Develops, builds and controls the budget monitoring: defines and ensures compliance with budget creation procedures, analyszes results and performance in relation to the budget, produces summary documents, defines the main control guidelines and indicators, designs activity dashboards, carries out reporting, etc.
  • Ensures the interface with the field: explains the figures, retrieves the explanations, readjusts the forecasts, etc.
  • Participates in performance improvement: anticipates deviations, monitors risks and opportunities, checks the effectiveness of corrective actions, defines drivers for optimization, etc.
  • Ensures the interface with accounting: performs reconciliations between statements, controls inventory operations, provides non-accounting elements, etc.
  • Performs ad hoc analyses: provides analyses of the organization's finances and presents findings to executive leadership for decision making and planning
  • If management, supervises and organizes the work of his/her team/department
Profile

Typically requires a bachelor's degree and at least 4-5 years of experience
