Our Welder is primarily responsible for performing various welding operations, using mig, tig, stick and gas. You will perform various machining operations using line boring equipment, lathe and mill. What You Will Do in This Role: Plan and produce metal forms or objects, or reconstruct damaged articles of various metals and alloys utilizing hand tools, fixtures, jigs, etc. Measure work carefully by using precision tools such as a micrometer Read calipers, micrometer and height gauge as well as air-arc, cutting torch and plasma torch Cut metal using a torch and following diagrams or sketches as well as fusing different metals and withstand great strength demand while avoiding distortion Regulate equipment as necessary for the work performed Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
