Avis Budget Group ("ABG"), LLC, is searching for a National Vendor Processor to join our Field Administration Accounting Accounts Payable team based in Virginia Beach. This job contributes to the success of Avis Budget Group by being responsible for auditing transactions completed in various ABG systems to insure compliance with the policies and procedures set forth by ABG.

This job also contributes to the success of Avis Budget Group by coordinating and controlling all additions, changes and deletions to the vendor file for all business brands, (ABG, Canada and Budget Truck).

What You'll Do:

  • Register new suppliers and ensure that it conforms to the revised Supplier onboarding process

  • Review Suppliers requested via the Supplier Portal, ensure accuracy and completeness of the data and contact suppliers for any missing data elements.

  • Provide Subject Matter expertise on the onboarding process and be the point of contact to address issues escalated by employees requesting suppliers using the internal supplier registration process.

  • Monitor Supplier Data Quality Dashboards and ensure that Supplier Data Quality is managed actively and maintained within acceptable limits.

  • Continuously review the supplier onboarding process, escalate issues and concerns to management and make appropriate recommendations to continuously improve the process.

  • Be familiar with the Oracle FBDI upload process and leverage it for mass updates to Supplier Data

  • Review invoice formats provided by the Suppliers during the registration process, determine the appropriate invoice submission channel and communicate the appropriate invoice submission guidelines to the Supplier.

  • Monitor and manage the supplier administration workflows on daily basis.

  • Validate and process all requests for vendor changes including changes to address, vendor names, 1099 status, etc.

  • Process tax levies including the monitoring of the levies to satisfy tax requirements. Includes verification of all documentation and assuring that the payment is directed to the appropriate taxing authority

  • Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

  • College education in related field or three years equivalent experience.

  • Three to five years experience handling confidential financial information with the ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.

  • Strong organization skills

  • Ability to work with a minimum ofsupervision

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); knowledge of MS Access databases

  • Must have a high level of accuracy & confidentiality

  • Must be detailed oriented & have the ability to multi-task

  • Must be able to exercise good judgment

  • Analytical &critical thinking skills

  • Attention to detail & a high level of accuracy

  • Willingness to collaborate with team members & members of other departments

  • Good customer service & conflict resolution skills
