Job Summary
Act as a team lead providing training, guidance, and assistance with the development of procedures, goal setting, and tracking of graduate admissions processing. Perform verification of admission application information, lawful presence, residency, and transcripts/degree documents submitted for prospective students and provide related customer services. This position will interact on a consistent basis with Admissions office staff and customers. This position typically will advise and counsel: enrollment services staff members and customers. This position will supervise: N/A. Evaluate foreign and domestic credentials to determine degree equivalency, calculate GPAs, and to ensure that applicants meet Institute minimum requirements Serve as a team lead for staff training, guidance on process, policies, and procedures for graduate admissions processing. Processing lawful presence (citizenship verification), tuition classification (residency), transcript, test score, and degree documents. Communicate with applicants to receive documents needed to complete their application. Respond to applicant, student, and program inquiries via Slate Inbox, email, and phone. Update student record system (Banner) and document imaging system for student enrollment. Coordinate with technical staff on system issues and process improvement.

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma
Required Experience Three to five years job related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications Associates degree or Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience serving as a team-lead and/or training other staff members for a specialized process Experience with foreign credential evaluation Experience reviewing international student citizenship documents, Tuition Classification, and/or Lawful Presence processing. Experience working in a Graduate Admissions Office Experience working in Slate CRM (Customer Relationship Management system) Experience working in Banner (Student Information System)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
SKILLS This job requires basic skills in data entry and verification, customer service, and communications as applied within a university admissions office. Skills in use of office related and specialized computer applications is required. Preferred qualifications include: experience with admissions and enrollment management software (ie Slate), admissions, and transcript/credential evaluation experience. Able to handle multiple tasks at once while meeting assigned deadlines. Excellent time management, problem-solving, independent judgment, organization, and communication (verbal and written) skills. Strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and phone and email etiquette. Experience with admissions and enrollment management software (i.e. Slate/Banner), admissions policies and procedures, and transcript/credential evaluation experience. Ability to work with a team to meet the needs of the office Ability to represent Georgia Institute of Technology in a positive manner with prospective, former, and current graduate students. Knowledge of FERPA guidelines
