How you will make history here...

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for scheduling work orders on a daily and weekly basis - plans work in coordination with production needs; schedules against mechanic availability; and captures all work accomplished in the plant in the CMMS (SAP) system. The Maintenance Planner is also responsible for initiation of work orders in SAP; planning work; scheduling the work; and capturing data from completed work orders in SAP. This position will have ownership of the facility's Preventative Maintenance (PM) Program and will lead the plant to a World Class PM Program, partnering with internal and external resources. He / She will support the function of the plant maintenance group by developing job plans and continual review/evaluate data from downtime and stockroom reports to determine the most critical focus.

Who you will work with...

  • Support the facility's journey to World Class Maintenance performance by optimizing the PM program
  • Analyze performance reports and maintenance requests to ensure plant KPIs are met
  • Utilize SAP to plan the ongoing maintenance work queue based on scheduled maintenance activities (planned preventative and corrective maintenance work);
  • Plan the work order type, scope, resources and deadlines for the maintenance tasks coordinating with safety, quality, sanitation, operations and production planning (considering operational and material constraints)
  • Monitor and review maintenance backlog
  • Develop Equipment Bill of Materials in SAP
  • Monitor maintenance resource capacities
  • Analyzes possibilities for reducing work order execution times (critical path)
  • Review and update maintenance plans with maintenance technicians on an annual basis (minimum)
  • Support plant SPQDC initiatives
  • Create requisitions to order parts for planned and unplanned maintenance tasks
  • Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation

What you bring to the table...

  • High school Diploma or GED
  • 4 + years' experience industrial maintenance

It would be great to have...

  • 2 + year Associates Degree or college/university program certificate preferred
  • 2 + years related experience (or) a combination of education and 2 years' experience.
  • Have adequate knowledge of the Planning role to include estimating labor hours and materials to write a complete job plan.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of SAP software, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint processing software.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Be a self-starter with follow-up capabilities and results oriented

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$77,100-$110,900

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
