Maintenance Technician - Shift is TBD - $30.00-$35.00 per Hour DOE

• Plastic Thermoforming Facility
• $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
• Shift - To Be Determined
• Day Shift: 6AM - 6:30PM
• Night Shift: 6PM - 6:30AM
• Training will take place on 8- hour day shift schedule for approx. 12 weeks.

• Every other weekend off
• Schedule rotation means you work 15-17 days per month

The Maintenance Technician plans and performs work that requires thorough knowledge of mechanical principles, wiring specification codes, properties of various materials, principles of operation such as motors, conveyors, switches, control boards, generators, circuit breakers, electronic inspection units, etc.

Perform various duties to install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.

  • Provides emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on production machinery.
  • Diagnose equipment failures.
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
  
  
  
  

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Work overtime as required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
• High School Graduate or GED required
• Technical Degree preferred, but willing to count years of experience
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance/production environment
• Electrical training/experience with 480 3 phase/machine controls - preferred
• Experience with VFD Drives and PLCs a plus
• Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.
• Previous work experience in mechanical, electrical and/or plastic thermoforming desired.
• Experience operating forklift equipment
• Familiar with all OSHA and GMP standards & requirements
• Computer Skills
