Description Mid Coast Hospital has an opening for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide psychiatric care as part of our consult-liaison service. In this role, the provider will assist with psychiatric consultations in the emergency department and on medical floors, with additional responsibility to support coverage needs on the inpatient psychiatric unit. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team across a variety of settings, addressing acute psychiatric needs and supporting continuity of care throughout the hospital. The provider will work under the full supervision of a psychiatrist, with regular case review, guidance, and oversight. Schedule:The hours are 9 AM to 3 PM, four days a week.
