SUMMARY

The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in supporting the execution of integrated marketing programs across Pelican's B2B and B2C divisions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this individual will help drive product launches, digital campaigns, content development, event support, and brand initiatives.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, creative, data-driven, and passionate about brand storytelling and customer engagement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign & Content Development



  • Assist in planning, developing, and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and traditional platforms.
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing collateral, promotional materials, product sheets, presentations, and internal tools.
  • Support content development for the website, blog, email, product pages, and landing pages, collaborating with internal creative teams and external partners.



Product & Brand Marketing



  • Support product marketing initiatives, including launches, packaging updates, and promotional campaigns.
  • Help ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all customer touchpoints.
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of partner-ready launch kits including product positioning, imagery, technical specifications, and promotional guidelines.



Event & Tradeshow Coordination



  • Help with the planning and execution of trade shows, industry events, and customer-facing activations.
  • Manage logistics, asset preparation, and post-event follow-up for lead generation and brand engagement.



Digital & Social Media Support



  • Support social media content planning and community engagement across key platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
  • Collaborate with digital marketing teams to support SEO/SEM initiatives, paid media, and campaign performance tracking.


  • Channel Partner Support


  • Serve as the go-to marketing contact for channel partners across Commercial, Consumer, and Government segments.
  • Maintain a content library of product collateral, sales tools, and brand assets for partner use.
  • Provide proactive communication on new product launches, campaigns, and marketing programs.
  • Support execution and tracking of co-op marketing programs, ensuring partner activities align with Pelican's brand and messaging standards



Analytics & Reporting



  • Track performance of campaigns and marketing initiatives using tools like Google Analytics, CRM reports, and dashboards.
  • Assist in compiling reports and providing insights to optimize future marketing efforts.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  • 3+ yrs experience in marketing for corporate organizations with consumer presence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset and a willingness to jump in and contribute across marketing functions
  • Must be organized, accurate, deadline and detail oriented.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field


  • Working proficiency of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, intranet platforms, web-content tools
  • Working proficiency of Project Management Software and Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign
  • Prior experience supporting manufacturing, operations or logistics industry clients.

  • Must have the ability to complete assignments within the timeframe specified by the Manager.
  • Must be flexible regarding working hours. Must be able to work evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice.
  • Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Emphasizes ethical leadership and decision-making to protect Pelican's brand and reputation.
  • Must be able to travel, nationally and internationally, as necessary.



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS



  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers).
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to execute non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch).
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across severalU.S. geographic markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The annual U.S. pay range for this positionis listed below. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills,and experience.
