Associate Director, Financial Institutions

The Financial Institutions team works with financial professionals who wish to grow their business through an arrangement with a bank or credit union.

In this role you will:

• Proactively seek new or expanded business relationships with FI clients and provide resources in support of growth and development of client's financial practices
• Develop direct relationships with bank and credit union leadership and key personnel, to prospect and service Financial Institutions, assisting them with the development of wealth services within their institution.
• Develop relationships with key internal and external business partners to foster strong business relationships and develop FP's & FI's financial practice through the planning, tracking and monitoring of revenue growth targets.
• Travel is needed (up to 50%) to attend conferences, meet with partners, and support institutional growth efforts.
• Participate in the development of strategic planning of the department.
• Coordinate across departments to establish and enhance operational workflows supporting new and existing financial institution relationships.
• Ensure operational support and resources are effectively provided to affiliated financial institutions and their professionals.
• Recommend and implement best practices for onboarding new financial institution relationships, including facilitation of contract negotiations.
• Support leadership in business development efforts by managing logistics for conferences, events, and stakeholder communications.
• Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to propose new products, services, or strategic partnerships that align with business goals.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and FI clients to establish and update functional Strategic Plans for our FP's and for our FI's.
• Evaluate third-party service providers and trade associations to identify opportunities for improving internal processes or expanding capabilities.
