There will be a three-steptesting process required for this position. The first test will be a written technical skill test followed by a computer basedWord and Excel test and a behavioral based interview. Each step of the process must be passed to progress to the next.
We are providinga study outline to prepare for both the technical skills written test, the Word and Excel test and the core competency interview. The outline is designed to maximize test results by centralizing study time in the areas listed below: Job Specific Skills Test
Behavioral Based Interview
The interview is a behavioral-based interview incorporating Tucson Electric PowerCore Competencies. We believe past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior, and more recent behavior, is a better predictor of future behavior than older behavior, and long-standing trends are better predictors of behavior than isolated incidents. We therefore have patterned the questions during the interview to solicit behavior patterns that indicate with high predictability whether the candidate can perform the job as required. This type of interview is different than those that you may have taken in the past.
Position Description: Is responsible for assisting with prioritization and scheduling of design (construction) and non-design (service type work requests). Assists in the coordination of activities including correspondence, work request requirements, scheduling and material requisition of all work requests. Responsible for initiating, recording, tracking, and maintaining accurate records of the activities required for the installation of TEP facilities. Position-Related Responsibilities:
