We're looking for a seasoned professional who thrives at the intersection of design and manufacturing, with a passion for turning ideas into impact. This role is responsible for maintaining legacy product engineering and leading continuous improvement initiatives across the Landscape Forms family of brands.
As a Lifecycle Product Engineer, you'll take ownership of strategic improvements that elevate performance, quality, margin, and safety across the board. Your ideas won't sit on the shelf;they'll shape real outcomes and drive innovation at scale.
You'll collaborate with leaders across the business segment, including presidents, designers, engineers, supply chain, and production teams, translating complex technical insights into action. This is more than a support role; it's a chance to lead, influence, and leave your mark on how we continuously improve, design, and build for the future.

How You Contribute:



  • Ensure product improvements meet design and performance standards through validation and testing.
  • Lead and support large-scale projects focused on growth, innovation, and cost savings.
  • Use project management tools to track timelines, address challenges, and meet milestones.
  • Generate cost-saving ideas by collaborating with manufacturing and operations teams.
  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation, including FMEA, tolerance stack-ups, PDL, and test logs.
  • Stay current on materials, manufacturing technologies, and testing standards.
  • Contribute to project budgeting, tracking, and spending.
  • Collaborate on prototype development with engineering, design, and model shop teams.
  • Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed.


Criteria for Success:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience preferred, with a minimum of 5 years in product development, continuous improvement, or project management.
  • Proven success in customer service, problem-solving, and developing product solutions.
  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement and confident, informed decision-making.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with a positive attitude and strong relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey technical information across all levels.
  • Proficient in quality tools such as FMEA, Gage R&R, capability studies, GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, standard deviation, and CMM use.
  • Familiar with manufacturing equipment including lathes, mills, routers, plasma, laser, rollers, welders, and presses.
  • Skilled in SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, blueprint reading, and project management.
  • Experienced in metal fabrication, cellular manufacturing, and materials such as steel, aluminum, wood, concrete, and plastics.
  • Capable of analyzing complex data sets and applying engineering calculations to structural solutions.
