Position Overview
The Kansas University Center on Disabilities (KUCD), a designated research center within the Life Span Institute at KU, is seeking a Research Project Coordinator to support implementation of research projects with Grades 3 through 5 students with learning difficulties in reading and mathematics. KUCDD is recognized as a leading research center in the field of disability and has projects across the life span focused on students and adults with and at risk for disabilities, across academic, social, transition, and employment and community living domains. KUCD has a strong focus on research, as well as community services (including technical assistance, community education, and direct services), information dissemination, and interdisciplinary training.

This position is located at the University of Kansas-Lawrence. Under the supervision of Dr. Elizabeth Stevens, this position will support the day-to-day implementation of two federally funded research grants awarded to the University of Kansas: Math Words (https://ies.ed.gov/funding/grantsearch/details.asp?ID=5888) and Align (https://ies.ed.gov/funding/grantsearch/details.asp?ID=5886). The Project Coordinator (PC) will work closely with the Principal Investigator to coordinate and implement all project activities in schools. Due to complex state employment laws, the University of Kansas may be unable to hire fully remote workers for this position outside of Kansas. Specifically, we cannot currently offer employment to candidates residing in the following states: California and Delaware.
