Job Description Note: This role involves assisting with equipment moves and imaging, while working closely with Desktop Technicians to support additional responsibilities within the IT environment. This is an entry-level position within the Desktop Support team, focused on providing real-time support for technology issues and fulfillment services (such as move, add, or change requests) for internal users. We're seeking an enthusiastic candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong customer service skills, and brings a proactive, can-do attitude. What You'll Do: * Collaborate with a team of Desktop Support technicians in a large-scale service center supporting over 6,000 users. * Administer Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS X desktops and laptops. * Perform hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and support for desktops, laptops, monitors, and personal printers. * Provide phone and remote support as needed. * Deploy and reclaim computer equipment, maintaining accurate records in the asset management database. * Document work using tools such as Remedy and Clarity. * Deliver excellent customer service to internal employees. * Work across multiple sites. * Standard hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Location: On-site in Austin, TX (11800 Schwab Way, Austin, TX 78758) What You Bring: * Bachelor's degree in technology or 1-3 years of recent experience supporting technology in an enterprise-wide internal service center. * Working knowledge of PC support for Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS X. * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
