What's next in your Survey career? V3 is currently looking for dependable and organized Survey Crew Chiefs to join our team! This is a field-based position. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills as you will be interacting with internal team members and external clients.

General Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and perform field survey crew day-to-day operations for Alta, Boundary, Topographic, Route, Residential, and Construction surveys.
  • Maintain schedule and budget requirements of assigned tasks.
  • May perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of field surveying experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Trimble robotic total station and Trimble GPS experience is preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires basic math skills.
  • Ability to work as a one-person survey crew.
  • Possess and maintain a current driver's license in good standing.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for short periods of time.
  • Software skills required in Microsoft Outlook, Internet Explorer, Word, and Trimble Business Center (TBC). Civil 3D experience is a plus, but is not required.
