Maryland Avenue Montessori School is actively recruiting candidates for a paraprofessional - parent coordinator position. A Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) parent coordinator engages in activities which support and individualize the teaching-learning process in MPS, works to develop strong parental connections to the school, and implements the district's family and community engagement framework, programs, and initiatives. This is a 40 hour per week, benefit eligible position requiring eligible applicants to hold 48 college credits or to have successfully completed one of the following Paraprofessional Assessments: WorkKeys ACT, ParaPro Assessment ETS, Paraeducator Master Teacher. At the time of hire, the selected candidate will need to submit one (1) letter of recommendation dated within the last year and signed by the author and a copy of official transcripts verifying the required 48 credits or a passing score report on one of the three assessments. Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
