We are looking for a data expert with a passion for turning data into actionable information. This person will work primarily with Sales Operations leaders in our Direct to Home Sales department to gather requirements and produce effective and interactive Tableau dashboards for operational and analytical use. This person will also work closely with other team members in strategizing and implementing warehousing of Direct to Home Sales data in our Snowflake environment.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards to visualize key business metrics and trends.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications for dashboard development.

- Design and implement custom Tableau solutions using advanced calculations, parameters, and interactivity features.

- Optimize dashboard performance and usability by integrating best practices in Tableau design and visualization.

- Create and manage data connections, extracts, and blends from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

- Conduct thorough testing and validation of dashboards to ensure accuracy and functionality before deployment.

- Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau dashboard functionality and capabilities.

- Utilize SQL within Snowflake to optimize current tasks and views.

- Collaborate with other team members to incorporate new data sources into our warehouse.

- Produce ad hoc reporting for sales leaders as business questions arise.

- Troubleshoot data issues and inconsistencies as they arise and work with the Vivint Data and Vivint Tech teams on solutions.

Qualifications:

- Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, including building complex calculations, visualizations, and interactive dashboards.

- Strong SQL skills, preferably with Snowflake experience.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus:

- Experience with Python ETL processes and/or the Python StreamLit library.
