Apply Now Company: Icon Shelters Systems Job Location: Holland, MI Work Setting: In-Person Summary The primary purpose is to direct and manage all Production Operations with overall responsibilities for production, quality, and other production-related activities in the Production Plant. This position is responsible for managing and directing shelter production activities by coordinating the production of products, ensure machines are repaired and running smoothly and manages shelter production employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Direct and manage Production Operations and staff Coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner Participate in and manage pre-approved budget for Shelter Production plant Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards Control and minimize labor overtime and repair expenses Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among team members Provides direction, technical support, development and leadership to production team Manage all employees of the department Responsible for performance management and personnel decision making Responsible for performance appraisals and final approval Oversee equipment and building maintenance requirements Perform other duties as assigned Competencies Analytical Decision-Making Communication Learning & Development Planning & Organizing Professionalism & Integrity Financial Management Risk-Taking/Creative Thinking Results Orientation Teamwork & Relationship-Building Results Orientation EEO Accountability Managing Others Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent required Previous Manufacturing Leadership Required-4 years or more preferred Travel This position requires minimal travel. Less than 20%.
