Job Description
Ultra I&C is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to support enterprise-level financial planning and reporting activities across a multi-site, multi-system environment. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining advanced Power BI reports, conducting detailed financial modeling in Excel, and providing actionable insights across the full spectrum of FP&A: P&L, cash flow, and working capital. The right candidate will bring strong technical skills, critical thinking, and a proactive approach to driving financial performance and process improvement.

This position may be hybrid from our Austin, TX corporate office or fully remote within the continental U.S.

Position Summary:

  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations to support strategic financial decisions
  • Conduct advanced financial modeling using Excel and other tools.
  • Lead consolidated financial reporting across multiple systems and business units
  • Forecast and analyze orders, revenue, margins, operating income, cash flow, and working capital
  • Prepare and present executive-level PowerPoint decks with financial insights and variance explanations
  • Perform month-end close activities including journal entries and actual-to-plan analysis
  • Partner with program and finance teams to monitor budgets, trends, and key metrics
  • Support strategic planning and ad-hoc scenario analysis across functional areas
  • Participate in datamart/reporting system implementation projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills, & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant Financial Planning & Analysis experience. The ideal candidate will have full spectrum FP&A knowledge including P&L, cashflow, working capital etc.
  • Skilled in the end-to-end building of Power BI solutions from data source integration to final report deployment and maintenance.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong experience with consolidated financials across multi-site or multi-ERP environments
  • This position requires a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • OneStream or comparable EPM software experience
  • Datamart/reporting system implementation experience
  • Familiarity with government contract accounting (FAR/DFARS, cost-type programs, etc.)
  • Understanding of program finance principles
  • Experience with software revenue recognition (ASC 606 or similar)
  • Previous work in defense, aerospace, or tactical communications industries
