Taft is seeking an Event Marketing Data Coordinator to join our dynamic team of legal professionals in our Cleveland or Indianapolis office.

The Marketing Technology Coordinator at Taft plays a key role in managing and maintaining the firm's experience database, ensuring the accuracy, organization, and accessibility of client matters, case studies, and firm credentials. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build and manage event registration workflows within the firm's CRM and event platforms (e.g., Cvent), including configuring complex custom registration processes to ensure a seamless and positive experience for clients and prospective clients registering for events and webinars.
- Assist in compiling, formatting, and distributing event invitations and email communication sequences to engage target audiences and support email marketing efforts; including segmenting email marketing lists for event invitations.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development team members to upload, maintain, and track invitation, registration, and attendance lists within the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and providing timely RSVP updates to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of standardized event templates, reports, and dashboards to enhance team workflows and improve reporting consistency.
- Maintain the Marketing and Business Development calendar to reflect upcoming events, holidays, and office closures, ensuring coordinated team collaboration and scheduling.
- Implement and oversee a streamlined ticket management process for sports and entertainment events across Taft markets to increase efficiency, visibility, and ROI tracking.
- Track, analyze, and report on key event metrics across the firm-including attendance, sponsorships, number of events hosted, Areas of Interest (AOIs), and ROI-delivering quarterly and year-over-year trend insights.
- Provide administrative support for CLE reporting and other compliance-related event documentation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys and staff across the firm.
- Demonstrated experience in registration management and e-communication platforms; familiarity with Cvent and CRM systems is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and solve problems efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for tackling new challenges independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Advanced proficiency and genuine passion for Microsoft Excel, including experience with complex functions, data analysis tools (such as PivotTables, conditional formatting, and data validation), and creating insightful reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and continuously improve technical skills related to data and event management.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
Requirements:
- Three to five years of marketing, data analysis, or event coordination experience with a focus on data management and reporting.
- Full time role with occasional work outside standard business hours, especially during onsite event execution.
