Description

Summary of Position/Purpose:

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of checks, wires, and ACH payments to suppliers. This role involves monitoring and reconciling returned items, ensuring they are promptly credited back to accounts, and maintaining alignment between bank records and the company's financial system. The Treasury Analyst will proactively identify and resolve vendor issues to prevent payment disruptions and support the overall financial health of the organization.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:



  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of checks, wires, and ACH payments to suppliers.
  • Monitor returned items and ensure they are credited back to accounts promptly.
  • Reconcile bank statements with the company's financial system to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve vendor payment issues before they escalate.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and support financial reporting activities.
  • Implement and optimize processes to enhance payment accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Accounts Payable team and other departments to ensure smooth payment operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all payment transactions and reconciliations.
  • Forecast cash inflows and outflows to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations
  • Analyze and recommend short-term investment opportunities to optimize cash reserves
  • Assess and manage financial risks, including foreign exchange and interest rate risks
  • Provide financial analysis and support for decision-making processes
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information
  • Indirectly responsible for product quality
  • Additional duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experiencein treasury, accounts payable, or a related financial role.
  • Experience with payment processing systemsand bank reconciliation.
  • Proficiency with accounting software(e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detailand ability to work under limited supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations
