TOGETHER, WE SAVE LIVES Summary: Provide manufacturing support to the plants (Pembroke and Ogdensburg) in the form of soft goods product / process cross training, assist plant mechanics with equipment installation and maintenance support. Assist with Operations NPI activities, this includes working with the current Operations NPI specialist on hand off between Engineering to Production, WI creation and maintenance and Duties & Responsibilities:
* Cross train operators, lead hands, plant mechanics and MEs on equipment usage, installation and maintenance and process and product information
* Working with the Engineering team and current Ops NPI specialist, assist with the smooth transition of NPI activities from Engineering to production * Assists in the creation of manufacturing instructions; * Produces, reviews and releases production packages and related technical documentation for production; * Interfaces with internal and external manufacturing engineering groups and contractors during advanced prototype builds to transfer technology of new products to production; * Transitions new product development to new product introduction through Operations Qualifications: * Strong ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English, including the ability to describe information, concepts and ideas and to convey instructions to others * Ability to independently manage, organize, and complete work activities in order to meet or exceed established deadlines/priorities; * Good team player * Travel will be required to other facilities, subcontractors or suppliers within Canada and the U.S; * Valid passport is required * Valid Driver's license is required. | |
