About the Job

We're looking for a highly strategic and technically adept Enterprise Systems Engineer to elevate our University's IT Service Management (ITSM) and Enterprise Service Management (ESM) capabilities. In this pivotal role within OIT's User Support/IT Service organization, you'll be an architect and innovator for our TeamDynamix (TDX) platform. This isn't just about configuration; you'll drive continuous improvement, leveraging scripting, data architecture, and system integrations to transform service delivery across our distributed IT, HR, and Financeteams. If you're a visionary Systems Engineer passionate about enterprise platform architecture, integration, and making a profound impact on a large organization, we invite you to lead the evolution of how our University delivers critical services.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver scalable solutions using both low-code capabilities within the TeamDynamix platform and traditional development practices (e.g., scripting, API integrations, automation).
  • Analyze business processes and system requirements to design and implement advanced workflows, forms, and automation.
  • Build and maintain integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., JAMF, SCCM/MEMCM) using tools such as iPaaS (Boomi, TDX iPaaS), APIs, and custom scripts.
  • Develop and execute testing and QA plans; evaluate deliverables for performance, security, and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the TDX platform, data pipelines, and integrated systems.
  • Contribute to long-term platform architecture and roadmap planning to support enterprise service expansion.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications (please document on resume):

  • Bachelor's degree and at least four (4) years of related experience or master's degree plus at least two years of experience.
  • Experience with no-code/low-code platforms for enterprise service or workflow automation.
  • Skilled in system and data integration using APIs, webhooks, or scripting tools such as iPaaS, REST APIs, and SQL.
  • Experience administering Windows servers in support of platform integrations, data jobs, or secure system operation.
  • Exposure to ITIL or similar frameworks for IT Service Management (e.g., Incident, Problem, Request, Knowledge).

Preferred Qualifications (please document on resume, if applicable):

  • Evaluate business and technical needs to develop scalable solutions using a mix of low-code & traditional platforms.
  • Streamline workflows, integrate systems, and optimize performance to support business growth while ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Experience writing scripts in one or more languages such as SQL, PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with integration platforms such as Boomi or TeamDynamix iPaaS.
  • Experience configuring ITSM or ESM platforms based on stakeholder needs and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Experience working within an Agile or iterative development framework.
  • Experience with endpoint management systems such as Microsoft SCCM/MEMCM or JAMF.
