Sr. Full-Stack Engineer (.NET core, React, Node.js)

Location: Hartford - CT USA ( Onsite )

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable software applications using AWS, Node JS, React JS, and .Net Core to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with offshore teams to design and implement innovative solutions that enhance customer experience.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability by conducting regular code reviews and adhering to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues to ensure smooth operation of applications.
• Optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation to support software applications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members to foster a collaborative work environment.
• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss project progress and address any challenges. - Implement security best practices to protect applications from vulnerabilities and threats.
• Work closely with product managers to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Ensure timely delivery of projects by effectively managing time and resources.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in .net Core, React and Node JS
• Good to have AWS skillset
• Very good communication skills and good customer management skills
• Technically sound to provide design and architectural solutions
• Interact with customer in understanding the requirement and collaborate with offshore team in fulfilling the requirements
• Should identify and mitigate the risk effectively
• Ensure quality and timely deliverables

Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until July 2^nd 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $87,000 to $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
