About the role:

As a Health Care Provider (HCP) Operations Specialist, you will facilitate the effective implementation of external product education and training initiatives by ensuring adherence to compliance guidelines. Additionally, you will ensure timely compensation for physician consultants, keeping internal stakeholders well-informed, and leveraging data analytics to enhance internal alignment.

Work Mode
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Coordinate HCP engagement and payment processes, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for physician consultants in accordance with contractual and compliance obligations.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and shared services (Engage teams, BCD Travel, etc.) to ensure process and policy compliance and accurate, timely data entry into internal systems.
  • Provide consistent and proactive updates to internal stakeholders regarding the status of physician payments, consultant activities, and program completion.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on training program and HCP engagement metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain budget tracking across medical affairs through monitoring invoices, program spend and leveraging medical activity dashboards.
  • Utilize data insights to inform decision-making, optimize future educational initiatives, and support internal strategy alignment.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of educational initiatives.
  • Remains aware of all changes that may impact training requirements by seeking out information that may change the medical affairs/education process and implementing changes/improvements to training protocols and materials accordingly.


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-3 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Healthcare Compliance, or Operations within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare setting
  • Strong understanding of compliance guidelines and regulations related to HCP engagements and payments.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret metrics to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated project management skills: organizing, reporting and tracking



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's or advanced degree preferred in data sciences, management, business analytics, or related field
  • Previous experience working closely with legal, compliance, and shared services teams to ensure process and policy compliance.
  • Experience in maintaining budget tracking and monitoring program spend.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of business and industry practices, particularly in the medical affairs or healthcare education sectors.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement orientation

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
