Job Description:

The Technical Project Manager oversees complex technology initiatives from inception through delivery. This role bridges the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring project goals are achieved on time and within scope. The TPM will manage a portfolio of technical projects, providing leadership in planning, execution, and delivery of software and infrastructure solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of project management methodologies combined with technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for software development, systems integration, and cloud infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, DevOps, QA, product management, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to define project scope and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and risk registers using tools like MS Project, ADO, or Microsoft Planner. Familiarity with ServiceNow PPM module.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and help resolve issues by translating complex technical challenges into actionable plans.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and enterprise standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Travel may be required depending on project and client needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. Major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, with a minimum of 3 years managing technical projects or working in a technical capacity.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), API integrations, or software development life cycles.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • PMP, CSM, or similar project management certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in project tracking tools such as ADO, MS Project, Microsoft Planner and ServiceNow.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $96,500.00 - $229,500.00 per year.
