Press Ganey currently has an exciting opportunity for Project Consultants in multiple specialties. This role is within our Strategic Consulting division. We offer the opportunity for you to take your years of knowledge, experience and travel around the US to support healthcare improvement efforts. Below are the general duties & responsibilities as a Project Consultant, and each of the specialties' qualifications and education requirements. Press Ganey is looking for candidates who possess one or more of the below qualifications.

NOTE: This is a non-exempt role that is paid hourly for time worked. Weekly work hours will vary week to week depending on the needs of the business and the assigned project(s). Role is not benefits eligible except for the 401(k) plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise on consulting engagements and engage in billable consulting activity in partnership with client team members.
  • Manage evolving client expectations, needs and priorities, and collaborate with client team members to ensure effective integration with consulting and service delivery capabilities and priorities, including database production processes.
  • Conduct interviews with hospital personnel and on-site observation.
  • Manage and monitor client experience, and recommend appropriate strategies, tactics, and operational initiatives to continuously enhance.
  • Assist with the development, documentation, and presentation of results to clients.
  • Document findings of analysis and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
  • Attend regular face-to-face and/or virtual meetings with clients.
  • Ensure quality control of deliverables.
  • Drive development of thought leadership materials, and new service offerings.

Qualifications

  • Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize tasks and delegate, when appropriate.
  • Ability to direct and motivate members of client project teams.
  • Self-motivator with ability to work independently.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including ability to positively interact with executives, providers, and staff at all levels.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Must have significant knowledge of clinical practice standards, procedural trends, and effective operational processes
  • Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time while assigned to a client project.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, public policy, public health or business administration strongly preferred.
  • Any related license or Certification preferred.
