The Opportunity

As the Business Systems & Process Lead (BPE), you will lead the implementation strategy, integration planning and enhancement business management for system and process improvements related to warehouse operations at our main US Distribution facility in Louisville, Kentucky. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Excellence, you will own internal business processes, including system oversight, and be the liaison between operations, IT/OT and other relevant stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met.

Your role involves partnering with site leaders, end-users and closely working within the Global End to End (E2E) Business Capability Organization to ensure business processes are fit for purpose and aligned with the E2E process strategy.

What You'll Do

Strategic Collaboration:

  • Collaborate extensively with the Global Business Capability Owner (BCO) community, ASPIRE Project, IT/OT, and SMEs to ensure alignment and drive network improvements in supply chain processes for automated systems.

  • Manage process improvement initiatives in the area of expertise, partnering with site leaders and end-users to ensure business processes meet strategic goals.

  • Leverage expert-level skills in SCM EWM/SAP S/4 HANA EWM business process design and development to apply business acumen towards enhancement proposals and management.

Process Data Analysis and Improvement:

  • Collect and analyze process data to identify process problems, systematic and critical errors.

  • Initiate business practices and processes focused on increasing safety and/or productivity and reducing costs.

  • Maintain and administer tools and reports in the support process.

  • Review new technology, tools, and systems to assist in modeling and modifying business processes.

  • Utilize sound functional and technical understanding of Embedded and Decentralized SAP S/4 HANA EWM system architecture.

  • Optimize RF and Fiori apps for mobilizing warehouse process execution, with preferred experience in integrating RFID with S/4HANA systems.

Requirements Compatibility and Project Implementation:

  • Review requirements (e.g., product development requirements or supply chain process requirements) for compatibility with common methodologies and specifications to determine costs and schedules.

  • Ensure successful implementation of supply chain processes and Product Increments by completing Impact Assessments, remediation actions, User Acceptance Testing, training, and change management activities.

  • Integrate S/4HANA EWM business processes with legacy and other 3rd party systems for Inbound, Outbound, and Internal processes.

  • Understand and solve issues experienced in daily business processes such as stock inconsistency, queue management, and bin inconsistency.

Training and Change Management:

  • Provide training to site resources at all levels of the organization with the appropriate level of detail.

  • Adopt change and act as a change agent for the site and network across all Areas of Expertise.

  • Conduct fit-gap workshops and provide expert solutions for EWM non-native integrations, identifying, analyzing, translating, and documenting business requirements for the client.

  • Utilize knowledge on advanced EWM topics specifically Picking Optimization, Labor Management, VAS, Kitting, Handling Unit Management, and Serialization.

  • Integrate EWM with cross-functional topics including Production processes, Quality Processes, Transportation management, batch management, and batch search strategies.

  • Research standard methodologies within and outside the organization to determine comparative data.

Who You Are

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or Master's) is preferred

  • Minimum of 10 years of SAP experience, including at least 5 years of EWM project deployment.

  • Extensive experience in business process management, change management and distribution system management.

  • Expert-level skills in SCM EWM/SAP S/4 HANA EWM business process design and development.

  • Strong understanding of Embedded and Decentralized SAP S/4 HANA EWM system architecture.

  • Experience with S/4HANA EWM business process integration with legacy and other systems.

  • Knowledge of EWM integration with cross-functional topics such as Production, Quality, and Transportation management.

  • Sound concepts on advanced EWM topics, Handling Unit Management, Serialization, batch management, and RF optimization.

  • Excellent communication skills for conducting fit-gap workshops and documenting business requirements.

  • Proven experience in strategic planning, system integration, and process optimization.

  • Ability to understand and solve end-to-end logistics processes and business requirements clearly.

Relocation funding is not available for this role.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Louisville, Kentucky is $124,500 - $231,100. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
