Here's what you'd do:

• The service centers, with departments of Financial Accounting and Reporting (FA&R), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR), are integral to the client's finance strategy.
• They ensure that transactional finance processes are delivered efficiently and effectively to meet customer requirements and enable scalable future growth and expansion.
• The Accounts Receivable Professional will be responsible for various tasks related to transacting key business processes for many of our North American businesses.
• This role is part of the Credit & Collections team, which allows cross-training on several tasks supporting business transactions.
• Coordinating and ensuring the correct accounting and reconciliation of cash receipts to the GL.
• Completing the trade AR cash collection process, including customer account research (assigned customers), proactively contacting customers to confirm timely payment, and resolving customer issues independently and with the appropriate finance business partner or commercial team member.
• Provided customers with AR statements, prepared account reconciliations, and managed trade AR disputes and customer payment promises.
• Researching AR transactions to support customer needs or internal/external audit requests.
• Updating FSCM for customer contacts (necessary % to meet metric), payment promises, and invoice disputes.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 7 years of accounts receivable experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Excel (VLookup, Pivot Tables, Macros).

• Associate Degree.

• Master's Degree.
• Current experience with SAP.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment that is highly deadline-driven.
