The Clinical Care Coordinator provides support to patients on surgery-related matters for the Department of Urology, including scheduling outpatient clinic appointments, operating room procedures, related tests, and pre- and post-operative appointments. This role functions as a liaison with patients, physicians, hospitals and other departments regarding scheduling, authorization, and patient surgery preparations. Responsibilities also include identifying patient concerns and either notifying the appropriate personnel and/or making recommendations as appropriate. Additionally, this role coordinates the delivery of special equipment, supplies, and blood donations. The Clinical Care Coordinator also works with insurance companies online and via phone to secure necessary authorizations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $54,664 - $67,944 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $26.18 - $32.54 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
