This is a PRN position located at Suburban Hospital Suburban Hospital is a 228-bed, not-for-profit, community-based hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. Suburban Hospital is a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine and has served Montgomery County and the surrounding area for more than 65 years. The designated trauma center for Montgomery County, Suburban Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and has earned ANCC Magnet Recognition for nursing excellence. The Nurse Practitioner will plan, direct, and evaluate employee health care in Employee Occupational Health services; examine employees to determine their ability to perform the essential functions of their job; performs selected laboratory testing; offer referrals to physicians, write prescriptions, and perform office procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols, and available equipment. Provides patient centered, specialized, evidence based advanced practice nursing care to workers in a health care setting through an inter-professional approach to treatment, education and advocacy. QUALIFICATIONS Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training:
Work Experience: Requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience, preferably in an Occupational Medicine, Emergency Department, Outpatient or Urgent Care setting Education:
Salary Range: Minimum $53.15/hour - Maximum $82.38/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
