About the role:

As the Dukovany Project Commercial Director for the Czech Republic you will develop a claims strategy, implementing such claims against customers and suppliers and defend against similar claims, in full coordination with the legal team, and implement an organized project document management system.

Participate in the definition and implementation of process and standard procedures and ensure that all relevant databases and tools necessary for performance of contract management missions are defined, implemented and complied with.

You will report to the Project Director. This is a fully remote position located in the United States.

  • Advise the Project Director and company legal team
  • Lead a team of supporting contract managers
  • Contract Execution (from project kick-off to project closure).
  • Lead Contract Management activities under Dukovany EP Contract
  • Project Execution
  • Claims and Claim Strategy
  • Disputes
  • Contracts Closure
  • Risk Management
  • Insurance
  • Export Control


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience as a lead contract manager for projects in the US or EMEA.
  • 15 years' experience in complex EP or EPC projects in nuclear, gas and power or automation industries.
  • University degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Cost Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration; Contract Management or Law.
  • Experience in contract negotiations, contract analysis and drafting, change orders negotiation, risks and opportunities monitoring and claim management/drafting.
  • Legal background helpful
  • Fluent in English. Korean or Czech language skills helpful
