CRI Advantage is seeking 1 Remote IT Project Coordinator to support cybersecurity-focused projects for our federal government client. The selected candidate will work closely with a senior project manager to coordinate and support project delivery, documentation, and reporting. This is a long-term opportunity for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong experience in IT project coordination and/or management. You will support a wide variety of complex IT and cybersecurity projects involving software development, infrastructure, and commercial product configuration. The work environment is highly collaborative, and success in this role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Support project scheduling, budgeting, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs)
Maintain project documentation and artifacts including:
Meeting minutes and action items
Risk registers and mitigation plans
Change request logs
Weekly status reports for stakeholders and sponsors
Assist in tracking project deliverables and timelines
Participate in requirements workshops and assist with business and functional requirements elicitation
Coordinate meetings, take detailed notes, and follow up on assignments
Ensure compliance with federal agency policies on safety, security, environmental, health, and QA
Minimum Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship (required)
Must be able to obtain HSPD-12 (Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12) badge
- To qualify, candidates must possess either a valid U.S. passport or a state-issued Real ID (STAR ID)
Bachelor's degree + 2 years of related experience, or Master's degree, or 6 years of applicable experience in lieu of a degree
Strong experience in IT project coordination or management
Proven ability in budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
Demonstrated experience with stakeholder communication and reporting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter able to work independently while meeting deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing or supporting cybersecurity or IT infrastructure projects
Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
Experience generating and maintaining project artifacts
Experience using ServiceNow PPM or similar project management platforms
Certification(s) such as PMP, CAPM, or CSM (preferred, not required)
Experience with organizational change management initiatives
