Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Vice President of Locum Tenens to lead and scale our Locum Tenens division. This executive-level role is responsible for driving revenue growth, building high-performance sales teams, and expanding client partnerships across healthcare systems, hospitals, and clinics nationwide. The ideal candidate is a strategic sales leader with deep industry knowledge and a proven track record of leading large-scale locums operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the sales and recruitment strategy for the Locum Tenens division with a focus on aggressive growth and market expansion.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of recruiters, account managers, and business development professionals.
- Build and strengthen client relationships with healthcare systems, hospitals, and medical groups to increase contract volume and long-term partnerships.
- Drive performance metrics across the team, ensuring KPIs related to placements, gross margin, and revenue targets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, compliance, and marketing teams to improve candidate experience and fill rates.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and emerging market trends within the locums space.
- Lead strategic pricing, contract negotiations, and margin management to ensure profitability.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and client meetings to elevate brand presence and expand network.
Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of experience in healthcare staffing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role specific to Locum Tenens.
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and lead high-output sales teams in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Strong network and understanding of the locums market, including physician specialties, market rates, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM and ATS systems to track and optimize performance.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
