Purpose of Job
Responsible for the efficient operation of the clinic including the coordination of the daily activities of the business, provider and staff scheduling, personal resource allocation, supply requisition, systems and effective leadership communication. Accountable for implementation of new process/QI initiatives, budget accountability. Participation in departmental process and clinical quality committees and strategic planning and budgeting. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including Rural Health regulatory standards, and DNV accreditation standards.
JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Coordinates clinic operations to ensure efficient and effective operation of assigned clinic(s).
  • Responsible for the daily operations of the clinic(s) including human resources, information technology, quality/process improvement, facilities management and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills to analyze situations, develop alternative solutions and take appropriate corrective action.
  • Demonstrates leadership by building a culture consistent with Ridgeview Clinics mission, values and guiding principles.
  • Provides effective clinic oral and written communications.
  • Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility in adjusting to new and changing priorities in work situations.
  • Monitors and enforces standards for clinic risk management, safety and security in accordance with Ridgeview Clinics policies and procedures.
  • Promotes and ensures satisfactory customer experiences and satisfaction. Resolves patient/personnel concerns.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education/Work Experience
  • Previous clinic supervisory experience required.
  • Bachelor's in healthcare administration, Business, Nursing or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Knowledge of management and organizational theory to supervise the operation of staff and clinics
  • Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
  • Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
  • Knowledge of the principle and practices of employee development to train, delegate and mentor staff
  • Knowledge of the business principles of accounting, fiscal management and budgeting
  • Skilled in personnel management including hiring and resolving disciplinary actions
  • Skill in identifying problems, and researching and recommending resolutions
  • Skill in writing reports and responding to correspondence
  • Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, organize and direct the work of others
  • Ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

License/Certifications

Completion of Medical Assistant program or completion of Practical Nursing program with current licensure is required.

Compensation

Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as: the requirements of the position, experience, education, knowledge, and skills along with location and internal equity. Pay listed does not include any shift, weekend, or other differentials.
