As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) II, you'll work hands-on with our SDK and peripherals, independently own and drive automated test coverage for specific features, and collaborate with senior engineers and development teams to ensure system quality. This position involves analyzing the quality of one of the following: (1) Real-world audio and video codecs used throughout the PlayStation system software. (2) PlayStation CPU compilers and tools that are part of the open-source LLVM compiler infrastructure. (3) PlayStation's 3D Audio technology and greater audio ecosystem used in the PlayStation software development kit (SDK) and system software. (4) The firmware and platform integration of PlayStation peripherals such as PlayStation Link devices. While these four areas are primary focus areas, there may be opportunities in testing 3D graphics, artificial intelligence, and the fully integrated PlayStation game development environment.
