Position Summary
This role performs routine and complex interventional radiology (IR) procedures, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and quality control workflows. It also includes responsibilities in equipment management, staff training, scheduling coordination, and active participation in departmental operations, leadership initiatives, and professional development.
New hires may be eligible for a sign on bonus up to $15,000.00

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and complex IR procedures, including patient preparation, sterile technique, imaging setup, and intra-procedural support while adhering to quality control and safety protocols.

  • Collaborate with the IR team and provide patient-centered care, assessing patient needs and creating a supportive environment for patients and families.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, ensuring all devices are functional and reporting issues promptly.

  • Support operations and leadership tasks, including coordinating patient and staff schedules, resolving technical/scheduling issues, and assisting with regulatory and inventory responsibilities.

  • Train and educate staff and trainees, providing instruction on procedures, equipment, and participating in departmental education and professional development activities.

Minimum Qualifications
Education

  • Associates Degree; Allied Health. Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Allied Health or Science.

Experience

  • 1 year of experience working as a Radiologic Technologist.

Certifications/Licensure

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • BLS certification
  • MA Radiologic Technologist license
