JOB OVERVIEW: Oversees the day-to-day marketing communications requirements for a particular product group or business unit. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implements a marketing communications plan for an assigned product group or business unit. Produces the advertising, public relations, and sales collateral needs for the business unit across all modes of communication.
- Creates and produces advertisements, brochures, and other literature as required.
- Oversees the development of marketing campaigns and accomplishes certain aspects of those campaigns as required.
- Writes advertising copy, newsletter articles, press releases, and other documents as required.
- Provides campaign results for review.
- Oversees the marketing budget for a particular product group or business unit.
- Responsible for the editing and proofing of all distributed communication.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Minimum of2 years of related experience.
- Ability to create effective marketing and advertising strategies is required. Strong, effective writing skills are required. Must be able to demonstrate creative communication skills through marketing and advertising mediums. Must have working knowledge of electronic pre-press process. Must be computer literate with advanced knowledge of DTP applications, such as Illustrator or Freehand, Photoshop, InDesign or Quark, and Microsoft Office. Must be able to create and use spreadsheets.
- Ability to work with others, readily accept constructive comments, and is willing to learn. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (preferably in the mass communications or marketing studies) is preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE: Typically 2 to 4 years of related professional experience. PREFERRED EDUCATION: Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
- The posted range for this position is $56,630-$74,993 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
