Position Overview The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will lead financial support for a designated business function(s). This role will serve as a key business partner to CEO staff, providing financial insight, analysis, and decision support to drive performance, cost discipline, and alignment to strategic objectives. Essential Duties Include, but are not limited to, the following: Business Partnership
- Serve as the primary financial advisor to IT, HR, Legal, Finance, and Strategy function leaders.
- Build trusted relationships and influence decision-making by delivering insightful, action-oriented financial analyses and recommendations.
Planning, Forecasting & Budgeting
- Lead the annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes for Corporate Functions.
- Align budget priorities with strategic goals and provide transparency on cost drivers and trade-offs.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Deliver timely and accurate monthly reporting, variance analyses, and functional performance reviews.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track functional efficiency and productivity.
Cost Structure Transformation & Efficiency Initiatives
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, organizational leverage, and operational efficiencies across support functions.
- Support ROI and business case development for investments in talent, legal infrastructure, or financial systems.
Strategic Projects & Initiatives
- Partner on cross-functional projects including workforce planning, compensation strategy, compliance risk mitigation, and internal transformation efforts.
- Provide financial leadership in vendor negotiations, contracts, and technology investments impacting G&A functions.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of FP&A professionals fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop roadmap
- Effectively manage, support, and guide your team, including, but not limited to delegating tasks and responsibilities, assessing employee performance and providing helpful feedback and training opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred
- 10+ years of progressive FP&A or finance experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role
- Experience supporting corporate functions (HR, Legal, or G&A) in a matrixed environment
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and data visualization skills
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
- High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems (e.g., Hyperion, TM1, Workday Adaptive, Anaplan, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Salary Range: $174,000.00 - $277,000.00
The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to be considered for company stock at hire and on an annual basis.
