Staffmark is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Plant Deputy Controller to join a manufacturing facility in Franklin, LA. This direct-hire leadership role is responsible for managing plant-level financial operations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.

Salary: $125,000/year

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The Manufacturing Plant Deputy Controller is a pivotal leadership role within the manufacturing facility, tasked with overseeing and managing the financial operations to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals and compliance with regulatory requirements. This position demands a blend of financial expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to provide comprehensive financial analysis that supports informed decision-making and drives the company's success.

Responsibilities



  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to support management decisions.
  • Manage plant budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for savings.
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee inventory valuation and capital expenditure projects.
  • Lead and develop the finance team.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and procurement teams.



Qualifications



  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • 5-7 years in accounting/financial management, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with financial software and SAP.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost accounting.
