Come join our team of dedicated professionals! Some of the responsibilities of our Partial Year-Hollins Mental Health Therapist include, but are not limited to:
Assesses patient's need for non-medical services within the parameters of the treatment plan. Works as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. |
Provides individual, family and group therapy. |
Develops and maintains therapeutic relationships with patients in the individual, family and group setting. |
Coordinates the patient's treatment with the multidisciplinary treatment team, patient's family, referral source and aftercare provider. Makes appropriate discharge plans. |
Records patient data in the medical record to include the psychosocial assessment, group, family and individual progress notes and discharge plans/appointments. |
Works cooperatively with other members of the Clinical Programs Department and treatment team, provides coverage and arranges coverage when needed. |
Licensed or License Eligible, part time, 9 months based on an academic calendar.
8 hours per day two days per week, and 6 hours per day one day per week. What We Require:
Education: Masters in Social Work, Counseling or related field required.
Experience: One to three years of related experience required with specific demonstratable knowledge and expertise in working with a culturally diverse population specifically the LGBTQ campus community.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills required. Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for position. About Carilion
