The Surgical Skills Training Center Lead is a newly created position that offers a unique opportunity to combine operating room experience with a growing interest in surgical education and program development. In this role, you'll apply your OR knowledge to prepare surgical training environments and serve as the primary OR technician during sessions led by department faculty and visiting industry professionals. These sessions focus on teaching and demonstrating a range of surgical procedures, often involving the latest medical technologies. Key Highlights:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent required. Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Training Program, accredited nursing program, or equivalent military training required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods; Proficient communicator, auditory, and visual skills; attention to detail; ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 pounds. May be exposed to cold, radiation, and blood/body fluids. This is a restricted position and is dependent upon project need, availability of funding and performance.
