The Production Lead is responsible for forming and cutting products according to specifications, ensuring line parameters and subordinate performance meet standards. Key duties include coordinating daily activities at the Rheon Line, monitoring dough texture and process line controls, and maintaining cleanliness and safety. This role requires effective communication with subordinates and supporting departments to meet production goals while controlling waste. Accurate and timely documentation of line checks and quality control is essential.

Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate, organize and assign work to subordinates.
  • Plan, direct, organize and coordinate the daily activities of the Rheon line.
  • Verify dough texture to ensure product units are developing through the process system as expected.
  • Establish and verify that process line control parameters are within specifications.
  • Continuously monitor controls to ensure product is within specifications.
  • Ensure flour dusters are filled at all times.
  • Monitor the number of batch containers on the floor being processed to ensure they do not exceed line capacity.
  • Verify that target units per proofer trays are within target specifications.
  • Ensure that mechanical moving parts of the line are functioning as expected. Report any malfunctions or potential mechanical failures to the supervisor.
  • Ensure that the Rheon line, workstations, are kept clean, organized and safe to work in.
  • Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) are followed by employees.
  • Communicate continuously with Lead Baker regarding dough conditions and quantities.
  • Accurately and timely record quality control checks.
  • Continuously weigh units to ensure product is within weight specifications.
  • Ensure all data entries are entered correctly and accurately for SAP reporting.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed.



Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
  • At least 6 months working as a Senior Rheon Operator
  • Ability to write clearly and legibly and possess basic effective verbal and written skills in English.



Shift: 3rd (10:00 pm - 6:30am *must work weekends)
